Frame Studies

Hello hello everyone!!!  Been quite some time since my last post.  I have been trying to keep up drawing, giving myself various assignments to do throughout the week.  Here are a couple of frame studies that I have completed since then.  These were fun to do, although I am not very pleased with them.  However, the point of doing them is to get better, which is what is feel is going on.  All in due time my friends!!!!

First up, a scene from the movie "Jarhead", timemark roughly 1:29:05 if you care to check it out.

"The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest", 2:09:26

Been wanting to do these frame studies for a while.  Hope that you enjoy them.  Criticism is welcome!!  Thank you.

A little something something

Just a little doodle that I did of the might god of thunder, Thor.  Thinking about doing a series of these with different comic book characters, since this one was so much fun to do.  Enjoy!! :D

Well, well, well.......

So it has been quite a long time since I have updated my blog.  I only have myself to blame for that as I have not been doing as much work as I should.  Shame on me.  Well, I have finally done a handful of things that I would actually like to share: some tonal studies that I have been doing here and there.  Both of these were done in Photoshop.  Hope you enjoy them, feedback is well appreciated as always.  Thank you.

Statue of David (I believe); ~30 mins.

And finally, last but not least.....

And here are the rest of what I have scanned.  This is pretty much up to date, save for the couple of ones that I have not scanned from the past week or two.  Sorry for the salvo of stuff I just put up, but I don't have a working scanner at home.  Had to go back to campus and bum one off of them.  Ah, life, hahaha :]

I feel like these are getting stale!!!!  And they are.  :/  No me gusta.  But the project in and of itself is not only great for practical self improvement, but also stretches your imagination to its absolute fullest.  As you can see, my imagination isn't that great.  Hahahaha.   Anyway, please feel free to browse through these at your leisure.  Also,  I would highly appreciated any and all feedback, so don't be shy ;]  Thank you guys, and enjoy.
