Part 2

Lots of stuff for you!!!! yes yes!!

Time for some updated postage on the one-a-day self portrait project.  As you can probably imagine, since I haven't posted these up for a while I have A WHOLE LOT to put up.  By a whole lot I mean a hundred or so,...yeah.  I am going to be posting these up in parts, just to make it easier to upload.  Enjoy :]

Been WWAAYYYYY too long.............

So I say it's about time that I update this thing, wouldn't you agree?  Ha.  My apologies for the super long haitus.  I've been out of school for quite some time and, with that, have lost all access to an actual desktop.  I have FINALLY acquired my very own desktop (HAZAH) and have connected it to the series of vacuum tubes known only as the interwebs.


As a little treat for the long break, I will post something that I have been meaning to show you all for quite some time: bits n pieces of my graduate film.......................which was never completed.  Womp womp.  As to why it was not completed is as simple as reason as this: not enough time, definitely not enough people.  One animator and one layout artist to complete a film a tad over 3 minutes long isn't gonna cut it.  However, the work that was complete I am happy to say was quite enjoyable to work on, despite the stressfulness of it all.  Without further or due, here are some bits and pieces of {:Truth}, a film 'almost' by Vinicius De Souza and myself, Orlando Feliz.

 

I was so very tempted to add a splash effect on the puddle, but given the amount of time we had to finish this, I opted out.  It would have made this opening shot SSOOOOO much better. :/

 

 

 

  

Again, these are only bits and pieces of the film.  Considering that we only had a two man team, and about 4 months to finish this, I believe we got pretty far with this.  And even though we did not finish, I am one to worries more about quality over quantity, and I am very proud of what we accomplished.  We both learned a lot of things during the course of this project, which, in the long run, is what it is supposed to be all about.

Any and all criticism is greatly appreciated about this work is encouraged and appreciated.  I will try and have this update el blogo as much as I can, now that I have my own computer!!!!  Hooray!!!!  Thank you all. :]

Autorretratos

Keeping up with the updates for this marvelous artistic endeavor that I so decided to embark upon.  Here I present you with some more self portraits, more physically rendered images of the beautiful contours of my face.  Bah, "beautiful", pfftttt!!  I can't even fool myself.  -.-  But in all honestly this batch had its few highs, and many lows, but all were fun to do.  Enjoy :]

Watercolour!  Moving in the right direction.  Getting the hand of blending, but need to work on contrast.

Oh, Oil Pastels, why are you so difficult to control?  I will master you!!  Definitely a step in the right direction compared to my last attempts with oil pastels.  More to come :D

  In all honesty, I need other work to fill the gaps in between all of these self portraits.  Now the school is out, I will have more time to GO OUT AND DRAW, rather than staying in.  Oh well!!  Feedback would be much appreciated.  Thank you.
